Chocolate Covered Strawberries are a great addition to any party. They are so easy to make.
What you'll need:
- 1 lb melting milk chocolate
- 20 large strawberries
- 1/4 lb white melting chocolate
Melt the chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave. Today I melted it in the microwave. I put the microwave on for 30 seconds at a time and then take out and stir. Once the consistency is smooth you can start dipping.
Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before you start to dip them in the chocolate.
After each strawberry is dipped, place on wax paper and allow to dry. Once the strawberry is dry with the base chocolate you can melt the white chocolate. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave and put in a pastry bag and drizzle over the strawberry.
